Finding Magic (Downside Ghost # 0.5 Novella) by Stacia Kane – Review
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
First, I have to admit that I’ve only read book three in this series, so I was glad to receive an ARC from Netgalley for this novella, since it technically occurs prior to book one.
I was glad to see a little deeper into the neurosis of the main character Chess, and to get to know her a little before her pill dependency really kicks in. And seeing how her training ended up taking her to the career choice as a Ghost Debunker. As usual, the writing is phenomenal and the world-building first class, even if the “amount” shown in this novella is condensed due to the format.
If you haven’t read the Downside Ghost series, start here, then proceed on. If you are a paranormal fan, who appreciates a little risk taking and originality, then you won’t be sorry!
